We flew to Toulouse on the Saturday morning for the second tournament of Indoor Championship. After the hard first WE, we were excite to an improvement in Toulouse.

We arrived in time to watch a few other games before ours so we could look at the competition. After a picnic we were ready to play our premier match against LUC. The match started well, with chances from both teams. We already looked better than the premier tournament. The score was close at half time after goals from Elaine and Lu and we were feeling confident. But after the break, LUC came back stronger and the score ended 6-3, already a big improvement for us from the first weekend.

Our second match against the home side Toulouse was later that evening. They had a big and loud home crowd, which put extra pressure on us. But we stayed strong and played a good match. It was close the whole way through with some great play from everyone on the team. Julian was confident that we could win the match, and with that in mind we scored 2 good goals, but against a good Toulouse team, we ended up nul at 2-2.

After 2 better performances, we went to the hotel excited for the match on Sunday, and feeling that we could win.

An early start Sunday morning against Escaudoeuvres, we were prepared and confident going into the game. We started very well and went 2-0 up with goals from Lucile and a cheeky one from Paca! But Escaudoeuvres came back strong and scored a late goal, to end the game 2-2.

We had a very fun weekend, even managing to get a picture with the Stade Toulousain rugby team at the airport on the way home!

We felt much more confident in the game, and improved from the previous tournament. We can take this feeling into the 3rd tournament and hopefully get a win!
